Algorithms, Data and Digital Business — chapter teaching

AI conceptual illustration, not documentary evidence.
Learn a mechanism, test a fresh example, then explain a real case. Checkpoints interrupt the teaching sequence; pause for individual answers before discussion.
Coverage: core Algorithms 3.2A–E, pp.81–89; Data 3.1A–I, supplied pp.57–80; Business 4.2A–D, pp.213–227. Data now includes foundations, organization, security and later lifecycle dilemmas. Business has two teaching arcs; select the relevant arcs rather than teaching the full library in one sitting.

Worked traces, conditional branches, before-and-after scores and dated source comparisons carry the explanation. Try three bounded demonstrations: Algorithms slide 7 (trace), Data slide 26 (missing value), Business slide 17 (share and denominator). Predict first, observe the change, then explain it. Algorithms slide 12 also links an optional verified captioned CS50 sorting clip, with a static worked fallback.
Data has four arcs: foundations A–D; organization and representation E–F; security G; big data and dilemmas H–I. The Google Knowledge + Reflection Form now includes four additional Data routes for pp.57–80, plus the added Algorithms and Business material. Submit the route assigned for this lesson; the earlier Data pp.72–74 route remains available. Retain your device practice and append a correction after feedback.

The browser deck is the editable HTML master. Projector view hides practice controls. The complete PDF contains every slide; transcripts supply the equivalent explanations. Earlier PowerPoint files are revision 3 and are not the revised teaching sequence.

Practice responses and choices recover on this browser and can be exported and restored. Device saving is separate from teacher submission. Keep your first response and append a correction.

Retrieve a distinction without notes; explain a fresh case; revisit the named slides after feedback. Later synthesis, redesign and defence provide new encounters with the same mechanisms. Do not assume that seeing a deck establishes understanding.
